Thank you to everyone who came out and had a snack courtesy of SBA on September 6. (Special shout out to Melissa Lidell for doing the shopping and getting such a sweet set up!) The Social Committee had such a blast meeting some new faces and introducing ourselves to you all.  We especially enjoyed the opportunity to explain a little more about what the SBA does and how the organization fits in here at UF Law.  Many of you joined us that evening for the first SBA General Body Meeting, and got to see first hand some of the exciting things on the horizon for UF Law students.

Just a few days before Hurricane Irma rolled through, we felt privileged to provide you all with a little relief via CapriSuns, apples, cookies, and granola bars.  It was such a treat to see your smiling faces light up when you realized the snacks were free, with no strings attached!

We know last week was stressful and this week will be especially hard getting back into the swing of things (some of you don’t even have power back yet), but hang in there!  Your SBA is committed to making the process go as seamlessly as possible.  We’re excited create more of these opportunities throughout the year to provide a little bit of sunshine amidst the downpour…literally.

If there is every anything we can do to help, please feel free to reach out to one of your SBA representatives, including the Executive Board, Board of Governors, or Committee Members.

Thank you!  And go Gators!
